What information should I include in my jam session description?
Please be concise and clear. There's nothing more disappointing for a musician or singer than travelling to a jam only to discover they can't take part. Be sure to include any rules or limitations you have in place — for example, "no singers" or "by invitation only." The more upfront you are, the better the experience for everyone.
Are you affiliated with any of the Jam Sessions listed?
No. We are not affiliated with any of the jams in any form. We simply provide a platform to help musicians discover them.
I've found a problem with your website. What should I do?
Please get in touch and let us know. We're a small team and the website is still growing and being developed, so we really appreciate you flagging any technical issues or bugs you come across.
I emailed you but haven't heard back. Why?
We're a very small team, but we always aim to reply in a timely manner. If you haven't heard from us, please don't hesitate to write again — your message may simply have slipped through.
Why am I asked to add personal information to my profile?
You're not required to. Adding personal information is entirely optional, and none of your personal details will ever be displayed on the website. Your profile exists purely for you — to create, edit, and manage your own jam sessions.
I've added a jam session, but it's not showing up on the map. Why?
This usually happens when the address is typed manually instead of selected from the autocomplete suggestions. Without the autocomplete, we can't detect the coordinates needed to place your pin on the map. To fix it, edit your session, delete the address, retype it, and select the correct one from the dropdown that appears as you type. If you're still stuck, get in touch and we'll sort it out for you.
